Batik fashion is celebrating its comeback this year! We have put together a short instruction for you on how to create stylish batik fashion at home.
Everything you need:
A shirt, scarf, or skirt (it has to be a 100% cotton)
Plastic bowls or buckets
Textile dye
Common salt or dyeing salt (1 tablespoon for each liter of water)
1 plastic spoon
1 measuring cup
1 pair of gloves
parcel string or rubber bands to tie the knots
old newspapers to cover up the floor
