What a night! The show before the show was the walk on the red carpet, which often is referred to as the “Fashion Oscar”. Our winner in this category: Octavia Spencer! And this would have been the second award in one night, as she received an Oscar for her performance in the movie “The Help”. Octavia already got us on the red carpet, wearing a marvelously beautiful dress by Tadashi Shoji. The award-winning actress was dead right with her choice of colour as well: cream in all shades, from hues like ivory up to eggshell, was the number one colour of the special event.
Could Octavia win you over as well with her beautiful dress?

Last week the Curves on the Catwalk runway show took place. Dutch Fashion stylist and blogger Edith Dohmen from stylehasnosize and Daphne Ooms from John Ooms Agenturen have put together the inbetweenies and plus size runway show to present the latest Winter 2013 collections of Anna Scholz, Carmakoma, Salli Sahne, DNY, Maxima and many more to all aboard buyers and bloggers!

To complete your Valentine’s Day outfit with a matching make-up we have asked Luciana from Lu zieht an for an advise on how to round off the perfect Valentine’s Day look. Luciana is 22 years old and presents great outfits and make-up tipps regularly on her blog, to inspire all women out there to feel great and look good even without having a model figure.
On February 4th the second official annual Plus London bloggers meet took place in London. Next to a visit to the Anna Scholz headquarters, there was a big after party at the Strand Galleries in Central London. We also attended the Plus London 2 event with our own rack to present our finest items to the bloggers who were able to try on some of our pieces. We had a lot of fun talking to some of the bloggers like Em, Pocket Rocket and Fierce Fat & Fashionable. There was also a raffle where three lucky bloggers were able to win a navabi shopping voucher. One of the winners was Em from Oh The Places You’ll Go Blog, who wrote a little recap of the event:
Our purchasing department attended at yesterday’s CPD trade fair in Düsseldorf and has captured some impressions for you. Besides visiting designer Yiannis Karitsiotis, who presented his upcoming collection to us, we also stopped by a few of our other designer brands, such as Yoek, Hebbeding or Lauren Vidal.
