The navabi team took over the Bread & Butter/Fashion Week in Berlin for you! Fashion editor Anna accompanied some members of our buying department at this week’s Fashion Week in Berlin and brought home tons of impressions that we would like to share.
The Bread & Butter as part of the Fashion Week is always a great source of inspiration. A hot issue is, and remains all the way through winter 2012/13, the fabric which everybody loves: denim! It was definitely omnipresent at the show. For example, Mavi’s “do it yourself” event was also inspired by denim: The visitors were able to let their creativity run wild and paint both jeans and shirts just as they like.

Last Sunday, the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards took place in Los Angeles. During this spectacular event, the best movies and TV shows of 2011 were honoured with the Golden Globe Awards.

Our friends over at PLUS Model Magazine have started a huge discussion with their provocative editorial about comparing the sizes of today’s plus size beauties and runway models.
In their current issue they are showing the unveiled plus-size model Katya Zharkova next to an undressed high-fashion model. The already hotly debated photos are supported by the statement that most runway models have an anorexic body mass index.
